Summer, finally!

I know that most of the country is sweltering, but it's the opposite in the Pacific Northwest, where it has been downright...spring-like. In fact, Bellingham hasn't reached 80 degrees yet!

But...today was a gorgeous day, low 70s and sunny, hooray! Miles & I spent time at the park, the Farmers Market, then helped Grandma Kathy plant poppies (from Ethan's service). It will be lovely to have the poppies in the space leading up to the door.

Sadly, Kathy left to return to Maine tonight. Miles & I dropped her off at the shuttle bus; many tears were shed. But, we look forward to seeing her again next month!!!!
